Hold Tite Farm Scene

I found this model T tire manufactured by the Hold Tite Tire Company while dismantling an old farm building. It was almost buried in the dirt floor surrounded by trash. I cut weathered barn wood to fit inside the tire and attached a windmill, stock tank, three wire fence, and a stained 1" x 6" field. We display this piece when our shop is open for special events.

Virtual Bicycle

Goodwill Rescue I found this N at Goodwill, removed the flowers and bling, painted it red, and mounted it on barn wood. "Big Red" and barns are two things that represent strength in Nebraska.

The Beef State

A Career Remembered

A school bus driver's career is remember and passed down from mother to daughter. Items include the bus pin, watch, and belt buckle worn everyday, as well as the pocket knife he carried. Also included is a large pin from the school district. The bus is made from faded barnwood with wheels and hubs added. 8.5" x 18.5"

Motorcycle Replica #1

My first motorcycle replica made form a horsebit, recycled metal pieces, and a short piece of red rubber hose for the gas tank. It's mounted on a rough piece of faded barnwood that is coated with 'Mod Podge'. 7.5" x 13"

Motorcycle Art #4

A motorcycle replica made from a hard used horsebit and recycled metal pieces. The spokes were cut from a roll of wire and drilled into wooden plugs used to hide screws on furniture. It's all mounted on sealed barnwood that was faded and starting to fall apart on one end. 7.5" x 16"

Memories of Dad on the Farm

A license plate from the old pick-up he drove, a horseshoe representing the livestock he cared for, and a broken tooth from a hay rake, just one of the crops he produced; all are mounted on barnwood and given to his son. 21" x 13.5"

Not Your Normal Tourist Stop

Created for a local inn, this Bridgestone motorcycle tire give hints for why folks might want to stay overnight. Hiking, biking, motorcycling, hunting, fishing, as well as viewing local scenery and wildlife are all good reasons to do so. Diameter: 23" Depth: 4.5"
